For periods B, F, and G - distributive property

Examples of the distributive property using variables a, b, and c:

a(b + c) = ab + ac
(b + c)a = ba + ca
a(b - c) = ab - ac
(b-c)a = ba - ca

Examples using numbers:

4(-7 + 4) = 4(-7) + 4(4) = -28 + 16 = -12

5(6 - 2) = 5(6 + -2) = 5(6) + 5(-2) = 30 + -10 = 20
